Mr & Miss Vintage UK 2024

Competition Rules

1. Basic Entry Requirements - You must be over 18 (by the time of the 2024 festival), and a resident of the UK. You must also be available to attend the live final at Twinwood Festival on Sunday 25th August if you make it to the final round (complimentary weekend tickets & camping are provided to finalists).

2. Photo Requirements - We only publish one image per person, so send us a single, good-quality image (preferably full length), showing you in your best vintage look. Your image must only have one person in it (you). Apparel must be civilian daywear or eveningwear in a vintage style (no swimwear, lingerie, militaria or weaponry). You must have permission from the photographer to use and submit your image. Twinwood Events reserves the right not to publish any photos that it deems unsuitable.

3. Where To Send Your Photo - Email your image to competition@twinwoodfestival.com, and please include your name and age (age won't be displayed) and where you are from. You are welcome to submit any further information about yourself, which we may display alongside your image at our discretion. A few words about your passion for the vintage look and lifestyle could improve your chances! Applicants must be contactable via the email address they used when submitting their image. The deadline for emailed entries is Midnight on Friday 7th June. Please note: Twinwood will start to publish photo entries on the Twinwood Facebook page, in a "Preview Album", as they are collected any time between May 6th and June 7th, but public voting on the images will only begin from June 10th, once all the entries have been submitted.

4. The Public Voting Stage - The photos will go live in our "Voting Album", on Monday June 10th on the Twinwood Festival Facebook page. Public voting will then commence - a vote is cast by simply "liking" the Facebook photo. We encourage entrants to invite their friends and family to "like" and "share" their photo in order to increase their chances of making it to the finals. The public voting period lasts from June 10th to June 24th.

5. Selection of the Finalists - After June 24th, the top thirty ladies and top ten gentlemen (those receiving the most likes on their pictures from the public vote), will go into a judged second round. After this, our top ten ladies and top five gents will be invited to attend the live final which will be held in front of a panel of vintage experts, on Sunday 25th of August at Twinwood Festival. Each finalist will recieve two free 3-day weekend tickets to the festival, plus a camping pitch so they can attend the event. (Please note, if you have already bought 2024 tickets, you will need to contact us via email so we can issue you with a credit note for the booked tickets.)
