Twinwood Festival 2010
incorporating the Glenn Miller Festival of Swing Jazz & Jive
28th 39th 30st August 2010

Twinwood Festival, incorporating the Glenn Miller Festival of Swing, Jazz & Jive has been an annual event since 2002. Held at Twinwood Airfield and Arena, where Glenn Miller took his last flight. The festival is always held over the extended August bank holiday weekend, and this is because Glenn Miller & his USAAF band actually performed a concert here at RAF Twinwood on August 27th 1944.

Twinwood Festival is not just an event, it is a festival in the true sense of the word. With a diverse range of non-stop, quality music from top orchestras, bands and artistes performing the great hits from the Big Band and Jive era right through to Rock & Roll. There are four stages, six dance floors, all day dance lessons and workshops, vintage vehicles, World War II air displays, vintage fashion, a great choice of late night entertainment venues, dance displays, museums, a traders village, great food and drink (including a real ale bars), excellent campsites, and so much more. Twinwood Festival is a very friendly event and is enjoyed by festival goers of all ages and whether you want to dance non stop for three days and nights or just chill out, relax and enjoy you'll agree that Twinwood is the place to be every August Bank Holiday.
