Twinwood Events are proud to present three days of magnificent entertainment at the Twinwood Festival 2008, ranging from the easy listening orchestras of John Miller and Syd Lawrence, to the most energetic dance bands of the rock‘n’roll and jump jive genres. This is by far the best, most adventurous, and most comprehensive line up
that we have had to date, and the careful scheduling between the two stages ensures that whatever your musical tastes are, you will not be disappointed.

THE DANCE MARQUEE

This is a new addition to the festival, and with its stage, sound system, bar, and superb dance
floor, it will host dance workshops throughout the daytime and a great rock n roll dance on
Saturday and Sunday night to Strollin’ Steve and his Music Machine.
THE HANGAR DANCE
Great forties atmosphere on Saturday and Sunday night with Chris Reynolds Swingshift.
GAZZINI’s JAZZ BAR
Chill out to Ricardo’s cool sounds whilst enjoying a refreshing drink.
Open on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
RAF AIR DISPLAYS
The RAF will again display their WWII aircraft during each day of the festival.

Twinwood Airfield is home to the Glenn Miller Museum, Aviation Archaeology museum, Fire
Service Museum, Summer of ’44 museum, Motor Transport Section & others. Complimenting
the unique surroundings of Twinwood Airfield are living history groups and classic vehicle displays.
